I majored Japanese Language and Culture in the University of Tsukuba. I
lived in Australia as an exchange student, which inspired me to become
a Japanese teacher.
I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test and engaged in
teaching Japanese in Tokyo for over fourteen years.
I have taught Japanese for students who came from a wide range of countries,
including Australia, New Zealand, USA, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Mongolia,
Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippine, Thailand, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco,
Argentina, Brazil, Colombia...over thirty countries in the world!!
I have taught all levels, from beginners to advanced students.
Those students have passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test and entered
the University of Tokyo, Kyoto, Keio, Waseda, and some other technical
colleges.
For advanced students, I don't use English basically. For beginners, it
would be efficient and effective to use English to translate the words
and explain the grammar and nuance. I hold a teaching certificate for English,
too.
